1. Agreement

By accessing or using Ranksignal.ai ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service description

Ranksignal.ai is an AI brand monitoring tool that scans multiple AI models (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, and Grok) to analyze how they perceive brands, companies, and individuals. The Service provides a Signal Score based on five rank signals (Visibility, Sentiment, Consistency, Authority, Risk), evidence analysis, source and content gap detection, competitor comparison, recommended actions, and monitoring capabilities.

Scan results are generated by third-party AI models and reflect those models' outputs at the time of scanning. Ranksignal.ai does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content. Results are for informational purposes only.

3. Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and email access.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • One account per person or organization.

4. Plans and pricing

Free plan

  • 3 full scans across all 5 AI models.
  • Dashboard and entity monitoring.
  • Anonymous scans are rate-limited and require bot verification.

Pro plan – $19/month

  • Unlimited full scans across all 5 AI models.
  • Weekly automated re-scans of monitored entities.
  • Full scan history and trend tracking.
  • Full 5-signal analysis, evidence, sources, actions, and competitor comparison.
  • Source gap analysis vs. competitors.

Billing

  • Pro subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.
  • You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

5. Refunds

All fees are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. If you cancel your subscription, you retain access for the remainder of your paid billing period.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, or security measures.
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Service without authorization.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or copy the Service or its functionality.
  • Use the Service to harass, defame, or infringe on the rights of others.
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit scan results without permission.
  • Interfere with the Service's infrastructure or other users' access.

7. Intellectual property

Ranksignal.ai and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Ranksignal.ai and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of the entity names and queries you submit. You may use your scan results for your own internal business purposes. You may not resell or commercially redistribute scan results.

8. Third-party AI models

Ranksignal.ai is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity, or xAI. AI model outputs may change over time and may contain inaccuracies. We are not responsible for the content generated by third-party AI models.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will be accurate or complete.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ranksignal.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of $50 or the total fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ranksignal.ai from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or at our discretion with reasonable notice.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Your data will be deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

13. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Norway.

14. Changes to these terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
